Oklahoma Surveys Show Quail Numbers Up as 2019 Season Gets Underway  Quail hunting season in Oklahoma opened Nov 9 and runs to Feb 15, 2020. This year’s Quail Roadside Surveys across Oklahoma show a statewide population index of observed birds that is up 23.6 percent over 2018.
