No Public Lottery for Vermont Moose Hunting Permits in 2018  There will be no public lottery for Vermont moose hunting permits in 2018. With no public lottery permits offered, all bonus points for the archery moose and regular October moose season applicants from previous years will be frozen until the public lottery resumes.
