More Wisconsin Deer Baiting and Feeding Bans in Effect

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection confirmed a captive deer in Washington County tested positive for CWD in early March. As required by law, this finding will establish baiting and feeding bans for Washington, Sheboygan and Fond du Lac counties effective April 2, 2018. The ban for Washington County will be enacted for three years. Because Fond du Lac County is adjacent to a county with a CWD positive test result, a two-year ban will be enacted.
