California 2019 Pheasant & Fall Turkey Hunting Season Underway  The 2019 general pheasant season runs from Saturday, Nov. 9 through Sunday, Dec. 22. The daily bag limit is two males per day for the first two days of the season and three males per day thereafter. Shooting hours are from 8 a.m. to sunset.
