Oklahoma Approves Changes for 2020-2021 Waterfowl Hunting Season   The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission recently approved changes for 2020-2021 waterfowl hunting season. Waterfowl seasons will be different this year. The midseason split will be reduced from 12 days to five days, which will allow opening day to fall later on the calendar than usual. The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission recently approved changes for 2020-2021 Antlerless Deer Regulations. Hunters will see more liberal bag limits and more open days for antlerless harvest. While muzzleloader and rifle season antlerless bag limits will increase in most zones, the total combined deer bag limit for each hunter will not change. Vermont Accepting Applications for 2020 Moose Lottery   The Vermont 2020 Moose Season Lottery is now open to resident and non-resident hunters. Apply for a permit online. The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Board voted to have 55 moose hunting permits awarded this year. Georgia 2020-2021 Waterfowl Season Dates Approved   Georgia Waterfowl hunting season planning can now get underway since the 2020-2021 migratory bird season hunting dates and regulations were recently approved by the Board of Natural Resources. A one-week paddlefish snag-and-release season will be open May 15-21 for ND anglers who hold a valid fishing license, the North Dakota Game and Fish Department announced.  However, if conditions warrant, Game and Fish may close the season with a 24-hour notice. The DNR reminds anglers to fish close to home and practice social distancing whether fishing from a boat, dock, or shoreline.
