Hunters will see more liberal bag limits and more open days for antlerless harvest. While muzzleloader and rifle season antlerless bag limits will increase in most zones, the total combined deer bag limit for each hunter will not change. The Vermont 2020 Moose Season Lottery is now open to resident and non-resident hunters. Apply for a permit online. The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Board voted to have 55 moose hunting permits awarded this year.
