Colorado Closes Lake Pueblo South Marina Boat Ramp Due to High Water

Due to sharply rising water levels, the staff of Lake Pueblo State Park in Colorado will be forced to close indefinitely the South Marina boat ramp beginning this weekend, Feb 28th 2020. This means any boater wanting to enter or exit the water must use the park’s North Ramp, which remains open for now. DNREC Emergency Order Authorizes Changes to Striped Bass Fishing Regulations   An Emergency Secretary’s Order issued by DNREC Secretary Shawn M. Garvin reduces the striped bass fishing quota for commercial fishing and limits the number and size of fish that recreational anglers can keep. The 2020 spring wild turkey lottery has been held and individual results are available on the North Dakota website. The GFD will mail the spring turkey licenses to successful applicants after they purchase a valid 2020-21 hunting license. A total of 433 spring turkey licenses remain in seven units. Alaska Sets 2020 Chinook Salmon All Gear Catch Limit for SE

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) announced recently that the preseason Chinook salmon PST all-gear catch limit for Southeast Alaska (SEAK) is 205,165 fish in 2020. However, the ADF&G target will be 201,100 Chinook. This year's target includes a 2% reduction from the PST limit that will serve as a buffer to avoid exceeding the limit and payback provisions within the PST. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game announces that Muskox permits RX070 and RX071 will only be available in Tununak, not online or in person as listed in the 2019-2020 Alaska Hunting Regulations.
